An der
Wand hing ein großes, buntes Bild, "Die
Fürstenversammlung zu Wien",
da besaßen sie alle Kaiser und Könige
auf einmal! Eine Schwarzwälder Uhr
mit den schweren Bleigewichten ,tick-tack!'
ging immer zu schnell; aber das sei besser,
als wenn sie zu langsam ginge, meinten
die alten Leute. Sie verzehrten ihr Abendbrot,
und die alte Straßenlaterne lag,
wie gesagt, im Lehnstuhl dicht bei dem
warmen Ofen. Der Laterne kam es vor, als
wäre die ganze Welt umgekehrt. |
